4/13/16 Breakfast is just toast and coffee this morning. We eat out on the balcony. Nothing much planned. Made reservation for a rental car for our trip to North & Middle Caicos.
Some quick stops-drive over to Dive Provo for Richard for next 3 days of diving making sure his name is on the list. Sawmills Plaza-stores Paradise Arts, Blue. At Blue made reservation for snorkel trip on 4/16 called Caicos Cays Cruise. This is a 1/2 day trip from pick up at 8:00 am until drop off around 12:00 pm. FOTTAC-bought bottle of rum-silver and a bag of the Grace Bay blend coffee. Cost $28.00 Caicos Cafe Plaza-Atelys' store. Decided to have the earrings done as studs instead of wire and she will match the hammering on them to match my necklace. Will also do another necklace on 20" chain for my step daughter. Details discussed. The Salt Cay sea glass necklace has been reserved by another customer but Atelys will get in touch with her to see if she still intends to buy it. It's been a while. I told her that if the lady decides not to get it that I want it. Caicos Bakery-buy a loaf of sliced white bread and one of those yummy sugar raspberry jelly donuts and a wheat panini for my husband. Cost $6.90
Back to the condo and rest of the day will be spent at our beach and our pool. Lots of action today on the beach-SUP, parasailing, kayaking, lots of boat traffic. The water is calmer today.
Drive over to Turtle Cove Marina. Stop at Sharkbite to buy T shirt. They have some cool designs. Cost $27.00 This is a nice place for a drink but we don't have the time.
Dinner-next door-Baci. At the entrance we are greeted by the owner who escorts us to our table and tells us what the specials for the day are. We get a table for 2 right by the railing with a canal view. Shea is our server and does a great job. So far all the service we have received at various places has been top notch. Drinks-pina colada and Heineken. Basket of baguette slices. We split/share a salad of mixed greens in a house made balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Tasty. Richard orders one of the specials-fresh wahoo grilled with capers, onions, and tomatoes. Comes with jasmine rice and vegetables of broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, zucchini. This fish is perfectly prepared as all his other choices have been. Not overdone which is so important to him. I want Italian so I order the veal parmigiana and a side of homemade spaghetti. When my dish arrives I also get roasted potatoes and the same vegetables as Richard. I have a lot to eat! It was so good that I managed to finish every last bite sharing a bit of my spaghetti with Richard. The veal was so tender you could cut it with a fork. A generous portion also. Dessert-we share the tiramisu. Cost without tip $100.87
